Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bridal File, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Bridal File is a booking management platform designed for wedding professionals. We provide tools for managing enquiries, creating quotes, processing payments, and communicating with clients.

Account Registration

To use Bridal File, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

We offer a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial.

Subscription Plans

• Monthly: £10 per month, billed monthly
• Yearly: £100 per year, billed annually (save £20)

Payment

Subscriptions are billed in advance. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months or years.

Payment Processing

Card payments are processed through Stripe. Fees for card payments are:

• Stripe fees: 1.4% + 20p (for UK cards)
• Platform fee: 2%

Bank transfers, PayPal, and cash payments tracked manually incur no additional fees.

You are responsible for any disputes with your clients regarding payments. We are not a party to transactions between you and your clients.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Collect personal data of other users without consent

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to Bridal File. By using our service, you grant us a licence to host, store, and display your data as necessary to provide the service.

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of data you enter
• Obtaining necessary consents from your clients to store their information
• Complying with data protection laws in your use of the service

Data Export

You may export your data at any time. Upon account deletion, we will provide your data in a standard format upon request.

Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance (with advance notice where possible)
• Experience occasional unplanned outages
• Modify or discontinue features

We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

Intellectual Property

Bridal File and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bridal File shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Business interruption
• Any damages arising from your use of the service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these terms
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
